Shopping in Belfast
Shopping in Belfast, forget London, Paris, Milan and New York! You cannot beat Belfast shops from the latest global chainstores to unique one person businesses, Belfast has it all.(plus friendly service)
The main city centre shopping centres are Castlecourt on Belfast's Royal Avenue and the recently opened Victoria Square(great views from its top floor dome!).
But aside from these, there are loads of unique shops catering for all types of tastes and interests, from bookshops to fashion,to jewellery ,gifts and souvenirs. The Lisburn Road in south Belfast has a mix of designer boutiques, and cafes(with outdoor seating available even in the winter!), perfect for a Saturday Afternoon (although I prefer a weekday morning when it is quieter). For something completely different you can also visit St George's Market on a Saturday, great food and trinket ideas with a dash of music thrown in (you can even have a little afternoon boogie) Of course after shopping, why not take some well earned 'time out' in some of the great bars and restaurants which the city has to offer.
