Important Passport and Visa Requirements:

For UK nationals a passport is not strictly necessary but photographic id is required. Check with your airline/ferry carrier as requirements may vary.All other nationals - a valid passport or photographic identity card is required. Shops are open 9.30am - 530pm wekdays Late Nite Thursdays to 900pm. Sun opening hours are 1.00pm to 6.00pm

Smoking is BANNED on all buses,cafes,bars,trains- all public enclosed spaces."If in doubt put it out"

Most bars and pubs are open to 11.00pm, some bars especially city centre and night clubs are open later to 1.00am at weekends (email us with specific request on any particular venue).
